Modified SINA rule.
Dear all,
Is possible modelling a frame element (Giberson member) with non-linear behaviour only in one end using Modified SINA hysteresis rule?
Thank you in advance,
Alejandro.

modofied sina hysteresis
Any hysteresis rule can be used at one end of a member, the other may be made elastic by setting both positive and negative yield moments at that end to zero. Some users have used very large yield moments but that means the member has to be checked to see if yield has been exceeded whereas if the yield mom, ents are zero the program automatically assumes that the action there is elastic.
